The France captain did not play any part in the team's 1-1 draw against Netherlands in their second group stage clash due to a fractured nose that he suffered against Austria. Earlier reports suggested that Mbappe could be sidelined for at least 15 days which means he will remain out of action until the quarter-final stage.

Speaking to reporters, the Real Madrid player said, "I think he wants to play the next match. His mask? He's getting used to it. He might like to play without it, but the doc isn't going to give him the choice! When he's on the field he will bring us a lot of things."
